For owners of established service businesses

Sell your business to a buyer who will keep it running the way you built it.

GrowthFare buys one established service business at a time and keeps the team, the name and the customers. We buy with SBA financing, so you get a straight answer on price early, not after months of back and forth.

  • Confidential from the first call
  • No broker commission
  • Your team stays

How a sale works with us

Four steps, at your pace. You can stop at any point.

  1. 1

    A confidential conversation

Thirty minutes, by phone or in person. You tell us about the business and what you want next. Nothing is shared with anyone.

  2. 2

We look at the numbers together

Under an NDA you share the last three years of tax returns and profit and loss. We tell you plainly whether a lender will finance it and at roughly what price.

  3. 3

A written offer and lender approval

We send a letter of intent, line up an SBA lender and, for larger businesses, an independent review of the books. You can talk to our lender directly.

  4. 4

Closing and a handover at your pace

Closing usually takes 60 to 120 days from a signed offer. You agree how long you stay on to introduce us to staff and customers.

What happens to what you built

Your people keep their jobs

Your team is the business. We keep them, and we keep paying them on time.

Your name stays on the door

Customers know your name. We don't rebrand businesses that work.

Your customers get the same service

Same people, same standards. We add support behind the scenes, not changes up front.

You choose your role

Leave at closing, stay part-time, or help for a year. We plan the handover around you.

What we look for

  • Service businesses in the U.S.: home care, HVAC and other trades, commercial and facility services
  • Revenue between $500K and $10M
  • Steady profits for at least three years
  • A team that runs the day to day, or could with a good manager

What could a buyer pay for your business?

Enter your revenue and what the business pays you. You'll see the price range an SBA lender would finance. Nothing is saved unless you choose to send it to us.

Questions owners ask us

How do you pay for the business?

Mostly with an SBA 7(a) loan from a bank, plus our own equity. SBA lenders require the business's past cash flow to cover the loan payment comfortably, so if the numbers work, the financing is very likely to come through.

Do I need a broker?

No. You can sell to us directly and keep the broker's commission. If you already have a broker, we're happy to work with them.

Will my employees or customers find out?

Not from us. Everything stays confidential until you decide when and how to tell people.

What if I'm not ready to sell yet?

That's fine. Many owners talk to us a year or two before they want to sell, so they know what their business is worth and what would raise the price.

Thinking about what comes next?

A conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We'll keep it between us.
